I actually like this. I really like the colors and the movement to it. I think the only part that bothers me is that ball of white (looks white to me anyway). I feel like it's too solid or not solid enough. So, for me, I feel like it doesn't have that softness that would blend it into the rest of the painting, but i don't necessarily think that's your goal for it. So on the other hand, I feel like it is this stark hard contrast to the rest of the painting, but it's lack of uniformity in shape and paint distribution (I know that light when scanning and pic-ing can cause shadows where you normally wouldn't see them) makes it seem out of place. I guess what I'm trying to say, is that it would complete the contrast if it were as perfectly circular as you could get it...so that way you have the dichotomy of a very fluid and soft background and then this stark bright ball of "light". OR I could just be misinterpreting all of this and be comepletely talking out of my ass...so...take it as you like . But all in all I like this a lot, especially the colors of the top portion.
